First Contract Negotiation Session Held with Envoy Management
TWU Local 571’s negotiating committee met with Envoy to begin formal contract negotiations, presenting initial contract proposals and establishing future bargaining dates.
TWU Local 571's negotiating committee met with Envoy management on July 16, 2026 to begin formal contract negotiations.
During the opening session, the committee presented proposals covering seniority, overtime, grievance procedures, general contract language, and employee rebuttal rights during investigations. Both parties also agreed to remove obsolete contract letters that are no longer applicable.
The committee's proposals were developed using feedback submitted by Local 571 members through the contract survey. Additional economic proposals will be prepared after reviewing information provided by the company.
Future negotiation dates have been scheduled throughout the remainder of the year, with the next bargaining sessions planned for September 3–4, 2026.
