Executive Board Update on Summer Bid, Roundtable Meeting, and Upcoming Events

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,

I wanted to provide a few quick updates from your Executive Board:

Summer Bid

The summer bid is currently being entered into the system. Once completed, all vacation schedules will be updated. The anticipated upload of all bid lines is expected this weekend.

Roundtable Meeting

Yesterday, your Executive Board met with the company for our monthly Roundtable Meeting. Topics discussed included mandatory overtime, CCQ qualifications, MPR, break room conditions, and part-time hiring. The company also raised concerns regarding D40 compliance, arrival readiness, proper scanning procedures, and weight & balance issues.

We are currently awaiting additional information and confirmations before providing a more detailed update. In the meantime, the TWU Safety Team is visiting work areas today to discuss these concerns and help address issues proactively.

Union Representation

We have recently seen instances where employees are being questioned by management without union representation. Please remember: you have the right to request union representation during any meeting or questioning that could lead to discipline. When in doubt, ask for a union representative.

Union Representative Training

Next week, we will be conducting training for our newly appointed union representatives. We remain committed to ensuring every representative has the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to effectively serve and protect our membership.

Upcoming Events

• Friday: Cultural Diversity Committee Multicultural Event in the De-Ice Break Room.
• Sunday: Events Committee Father's Day Celebration. All TWU Local 571 fathers are welcome to attend.
