Election Process & September 28 Nominations
The Election Committee has announced the next steps in the election process, including September 28 nominations and the schedule for the re-run election.
The recent Local 571 election was challenged, and the outgoing board voted to hold another election. According to the Election Committee, the International Committee on Appeals has now agreed with the decision to re-run the election.
The Election Committee is moving forward with the re-run election process. The next step will be nominations for Officer and Executive Board positions on September 28, 2026.
