Vacation Bidding Temporarily Suspended — Revised Dates
Vacation bidding was temporarily suspended October 26 due to identified issues. Affected members will resume bidding October 27 with revised dates and times.
Good afternoon, brothers and sisters,
This morning, issues were identified during the vacation bidding process. To ensure every member has a fair and equal opportunity to participate in a process that is accurate and handled correctly, the Union and the Company have agreed to temporarily suspend vacation bidding for today.
Revised Bidding Schedule
Bidding will resume tomorrow morning, October 27, beginning with the members who were originally scheduled to bid today, October 26.
If you were originally scheduled to bid on October 27, your new bidding date will be October 28.
The Company is working to update the information and will distribute the revised bidding dates and times to everyone.
If you have already completed your vacation bid before today, you do not need to bid again. This change applies only to the affected members whose bidding was scheduled to begin on October 26.
We understand that changes like this can be frustrating, especially when members are planning their time off. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while these issues are corrected. Our priority is to ensure the process is handled properly, fairly, and consistently for all affected members.
As always, the Union will continue to monitor the process and work with the Company to ensure our members are treated fairly.
