2026 Winter Bid Now Available
The 2026 Winter Bid has been posted and is now available to review. Members can view the bid and learn more about how the bid process works.
The bid will take effect on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
Bidding Schedule
- August 14: CC and PT bidding begins
- August 17: Full-Time bidding begins
- September 5: Winter Bid takes effect
Individual bid times will be posted by the Company closer to the bidding dates.
How to Bid
Bidding will take place in the L8 Admin Conference Room.
Members may bid:
- In person
- By phone at 773-894-7498
- By an authorized proxy using the Company's Proxy Bidding Form
It is each member's responsibility to bid during their assigned time.
The Company will not contact members when their bidding time arrives. If you miss your assigned time but bid before the overall bid closes, you may select from the shifts still available at that time. Members who do not bid will be assigned an available shift after bidding is completed.
Important Eligibility Information
Members must be active employees without work restrictions on the day before the bid becomes effective in order to participate normally in the bid.
Employees on a leave of absence or light duty must be cleared and returned to full duty by the required date. Otherwise, they will be slotted when they return to full duty.
Bidding will be conducted according to Occupational Seniority within each classification.
Please take time to review the complete bid materials provided by the Company and familiarize yourself with the upcoming bidding schedule.
