INFOR Rollout Issues and Member Guidance
Union update on INFOR rollout problems, CS concerns, mandatory overtime posting, pay coding, vacations, and sick call procedures.
Good afternoon brothers and sisters,
We just got off a conference call with the company regarding the failed launch of INFOR and the many issues our members have experienced since the system went live.
First and foremost, we understand the frustration, confusion, and uncertainty that everyone is dealing with. We want you to know that we are continuing to address these concerns directly with the company and will keep pushing for answers and solutions.
INFOR Team On Site Tomorrow
The INFOR team will be on site tomorrow, August 18, to begin addressing the numerous problems we are seeing, as well as other adjustments the company is working through.
We were informed that management will provide another update tomorrow afternoon. We will continue pressing them for answers, especially regarding the CS issues.
CS Concerns
Management informed us that they will not process CS requests for this week until they receive additional information from the INFOR team.
We expressed how we disagree with that decision, as the flexibility is being taken away from everyone now and is going to cause even more staffing issues.
We also raised the concern that employees are currently only able to CS with employees in the same classification. This issue has been acknowledged and will be reviewed by the INFOR team tomorrow.
Mandatory Overtime
Mandatory overtime must be properly posted in the break rooms. Management cannot simply verbally tell you that you are mandatory.
We addressed this with management today, and they committed to making sure mandatory overtime is printed and posted in the break rooms moving forward.
Please also make sure you are checking your company email so you receive the proper notifications. If your email inbox is full, delete emails and clear space so you can receive new messages.
We were also informed that when you are mandatory, INFOR will no longer display it as two separate shifts like the old system did. It will show as an extension of your current shift.
Members with questions about contractual rights can also review the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Overtime / Double Time
There are questions regarding how overtime and double time are currently displaying in INFOR. Management advised us that these hours may temporarily show as AST in the system.
Once the infraction is cleared, the system should be adjusted to reflect the correct overtime or double-time coding.
You will not lose your pay because of the system issue.
Vacations
Management stated that vacation information has been entered into the system. The INFOR team will confirm this information when they are on site tomorrow.
If your vacation is not displaying correctly, please continue to monitor it while these issues are being corrected.
Calling In Sick
If you need to call in sick, DO NOT use the INFOR app to enter sick time.
You must use the online sick form located in our [Resources] section. (https://twulocal571.org/resources). If you enter sick time through the INFOR app, management advised that it may not code correctly.
Continue Documenting Issues
We know this rollout has created a tremendous amount of confusion and frustration. We are experiencing many of the same issues and are working directly with the company to get them corrected.
Please continue documenting any problems you are experiencing and make sure you are checking your email for updates.
We will provide another update as soon as we receive additional information.
